Pictures to Update People
Alright, so here are a few pictures of our new apartment... that is soon to be our old apartment.
They are pretty self explanatory... so there won't really be captions.
Also, at the end are some of the baby clothes Michael and I have already. They are some of the 0-3 Month clothes we bought for SUPER cheap at Once Upon a Child AND for 60 percent off on top of that. So yeah... here we go!
Oh, and there are some silly pictures of Michael too. Just because we could. :)

Prescribed Caffeine
Well, yesterday I had another doctor's appointment.
And I've been getting REALLY bad headaches the past few weeks. I know headaches are pretty common during pregnancy, but every day? all day and night? Migraines?
Needless to say, I haven't been sleeping all that well because of them and have just struggled functioning.
So, we talked to the doctor about it, and she 'prescribed' caffeine(everyday) and Extra Strength Tylenol(when needed). Awesome.
I thought Caffeine was bad for you during pregnancy? I mean, I know it's worse during the first trimester because it increases chances of miscarriage, but isn't it still bad during the rest of pregnancy? Anyway... so now I guess it's time to find some caffeine. Lots of chocolate? Or Dr. Pepper? Or Coke? Or what?
Anyway. Fun stuff!
I don't have Gestational Diabetes! Thank goodness! I was SO NERVOUS that I'd have to drink that stuff after fasting. It was SO HARD for me to keep it down even with food in my stomach. My tummy did NOT like that Glucose drink... at all. Anyway, I'm really happy I don't have to do that test again and then all of the little tests I'd have to do myself all day. So glad!
My Iron is low (even with the extra extra iron in my prenatal vitamins). Yay for being slightly anemic. Which is also probably why I've been having the migraines. So I've got to take my prenatal vitamins with Orange Juice to help the iron absorption, and just try to get more iron. Yay! More meat. :)
Anyway, aside from that, things look good and I'll be back in three weeks. Yay for more frequent visits -_-

Girl Clothes
I am SO EXCITED to get to dress little Emmalynn up! YIKES!
The other day Michael and I bought a bunch of clothes (well, about 20 outfits) at Once Upon a Child. Which was pretty sweet. We found some super cute stuff!
But then, yesterday Michael's parents drove in and with them they brought 0-3 month clothes from a friend in Canada!
(Like another 15 outfits!). Although, those are all long sleeve/heavier clothes. But, for inside, when she's still super young, those will be good. Yay for baby clothes! They are so cute.
Anyway... that's all really. Life's crazy currently, but that's alright.

Updates
Michael has started doing a P90X ninety day challenge. He is sore. But, it's kind of entertaining to watch him... (obviously, I cannot do anything THAT intense).
Michael got a new job for the summer (the research lab he works for didn't have funding for him over the summer). It's nothing glamorous, but it's a job. He'll be cleaning apartments... woo! But, that means he'll be gone from 7:45-5. Yay for full time jobs.
Michael's parents are coming to visit for Women's conference week.
We have a smoke detector in our apartment that WILL NOT stop going off. We thought it was because the battery was dying, but we checked the battery and it's new. So, we think the actual smoke detector is dying. All of the other ones in our apartment are new... so yeah. It's annoying. It just happens to be the one IN OUR BEDROOM. I'm frustrated.
We still aren't completely moved out of our old apartment (we've kinda been slacking), but we will be done by Saturday (because our contract there ends on Monday). We've got LOTS of unpacking and organizing to do in the new apartment still. It's HARD to go from having no storage space/space at all to having TONS of it. We've got plenty of stuff to put places, but we're not used to having to decide where to put things! Or have options. Like our kitchen for instance, we have SO MANY cabinets AND a pantry! YIKES! So many decisions of where to put things! Craziness!
Our new apartment has done a really good job so far at staying cool, even on hot days. It's a basement, so that was our hope. Although, we will be getting a window unit air conditioner from our friends, so come summer when it is consistently hot all the time I won't die.
I'm getting my first ever passport! yay! That way, MAYBE if Michael's paperwork goes through by end of August, I can FINALLY get to see where he's from! If not, maybe we'll go up there sometime during the fall. Too bad Canada has a different Thanksgiving...
Anyway, we've got lots of work to do this weekend, but I'm so low on energy it's frustrating! I wish it were a little warmer and not so rainy... we had wanted to go camping this weekend. But, it's not looking too hopeful. =/
Our new camera is WONDERFUL! I love it. I haven't taken any pictures of anything much yet, but soon! I'll have to take pictures of our old apartment and our new one... it'll be fun to really compare them.
Michael and I finally have food in our fridge! (okay, that sounds bad...) The fridge in our old apartment didn't work so well, and we were at Joe and Tina's so much, that we basically had to do dinner and nothing else/we would use their fridge. So, we had a bunch of frozen meat in the freezer, and that's what we would use to eat! But now, we've got fruits and veggies and all this other good stuff in our fridge! We went shopping yesterday to hit all the sweet deals on the first day! We got 93% lean beef for 1.98 a pound! Talk about AWESOME! And tomorrow there is chicken breast for 1.29 a lb. So, we'll probably get some of that too, although, we've still got some chicken in the freezer. But yeah. And strawberries were super duper cheap!
Although, we did splurge a little bit and got some really yummy milk (it's Michael's favorite... its as close a taste to right from a cow as you can get apparently... can you tell he's sorta kinda a farm boy?). Anyway, we're VERY excited to have a working fridge! Now we can actually make enough food to have left overs instead of trying to plan exactly how much we need.
Anyway, this is all super boring. So I'm sorry if anyone actually read this!

A New Apartment
Well, Michael and I got our new apartment on Saturday. So, we spent most of conference weekend (mainly Saturday) moving stuff from our old apartment (in our car) into our new apartment.
Our home teachers helped us move the big stuff we have (like dresser, bookshelf, bed, chair, and crib (still in the box)), after the Priesthood session. So that was SUPER nice. because we didn't have to spend 50 dollars to rent a truck to move 5 things... I wasn't looking forward to that. I mean, obviously if we had to rent a truck, we would have packed it full with the boxes we have been moving in our car, but still. It's nice not to have that expense for a move across town.
Anyway, so Sunday we unpacked while we watched conference and set up the crib because we wanted to make sure it would be a sturdy/safe one. Michael was a little paranoid because we got it for so "cheap". But, it's actually a REALLY nice crib (not just nice looking!). So, we're excited.
And so we've got stuff in our new apartment! Enough to live off of anyway... But we've still got at least three more car trips of stuff to make... woo. Although, before we do that, we're going to finish unpacking what we already have there... at least MOSTLY unpack it.
It's exciting to be in a place that has enough storage places for our stuff! Before, the ONLY storage we had, was our tiny closet... so for a while our towels and blankets and stuff were all just crammed into storage bins sitting in our bedroom/living room. (awesome, right?) But now, our clean towels can be in a closet! And so can our blankets! YAY! I'm so excited to actually have places to organize things and not live out of storage containers or cardboard boxes!
We're already more unpacked in the new apartment then we've ever been in our old one... kinda pathetic if you think about it. But, we're excited! We should get our camera in the next two days... so I'll take some pictures of both places for ya :)
