school...

Well, life has been interesting recently. Schools is really great this semester! I LOVE IT! I'm taking a lot of music classes, and I really enjoy them. I mean, none of my classes are easy - at all. But, they are super fun so I don't mind doing the work. I love the way my schedule is laid out too. I always start close to home and my last class is close to home too. So I never have a super long walk to a class. It's pretty awesome. I've also got a decent amount of time between most of my classes - unlike last semester when they were right after each other ALL DAY. Now, I've got a class, a break, and then like two classes. Then I'm done for the day! It's awesome. =D My dance classes are a lot of work, but are so much fun. I love it! Although, I'll have to practice more this semester than I did last semester. It hasn't been cold and snowy here... it's be cold and rainy. But, I've learned to appreciate the weather and my life. I'm a lot happier this semester than I was last semester. I had a really hard time adjusting. I hated the weather, hated the situations I was put in, hated the classes, and the stupid freshman mentoring program. I hated having to move mid-semester. But, I realize it was supposed to happen that way. The Lord knew that is what I needed. Without any of that, I would not be where I am today. I wouldn't understand what it is like to be happy out here. Because of the move, I've met some really great people. Because of chemistry, I've met one of my best friends. Because I had to struggle so much last semester, I've learned to appreciate the little things in my life again. I've learned to many lessons I know I needed to learn. Looking back, 2010 was a good year. It was miserable, but it was what I needed. I'm thankful for the hard times, but even more thankful for the good ones. Among all of the dreadful days of last semester/year, there were good people who supported me. There were people who helped me, who hurt me, and who loved me. 2010 was a good year, but 2011 is going to better - especially knowing what I know now. I'm ready to have fun!
