school...
Well, life has been interesting recently. Schools is really great this semester! I LOVE IT! I'm taking a lot of music classes, and I really enjoy them. I mean, none of my classes are easy - at all. But, they are super fun so I don't mind doing the work.
I love the way my schedule is laid out too. I always start close to home and my last class is close to home too. So I never have a super long walk to a class. It's pretty awesome. I've also got a decent amount of time between most of my classes - unlike last semester when they were right after each other ALL DAY. Now, I've got a class, a break, and then like two classes. Then I'm done for the day! It's awesome. =D
My dance classes are a lot of work, but are so much fun. I love it! Although, I'll have to practice more this semester than I did last semester.
It hasn't been cold and snowy here... it's be cold and rainy. But, I've learned to appreciate the weather and my life. I'm a lot happier this semester than I was last semester. I had a really hard time adjusting. I hated the weather, hated the situations I was put in, hated the classes, and the stupid freshman mentoring program. I hated having to move mid-semester. But, I realize it was supposed to happen that way.
The Lord knew that is what I needed. Without any of that, I would not be where I am today. I wouldn't understand what it is like to be happy out here. Because of the move, I've met some really great people. Because of chemistry, I've met one of my best friends. Because I had to struggle so much last semester, I've learned to appreciate the little things in my life again. I've learned to many lessons I know I needed to learn. Looking back, 2010 was a good year. It was miserable, but it was what I needed.
I'm thankful for the hard times, but even more thankful for the good ones. Among all of the dreadful days of last semester/year, there were good people who supported me. There were people who helped me, who hurt me, and who loved me. 2010 was a good year, but 2011 is going to better - especially knowing what I know now.
I'm ready to have fun!

Fall Semesterr
Well, here it goes again. I've got my schedule in place finally.
I'm taking a few difficult classes. Well, not hard really, just a lot of work.
It's kind of weird being here and living on campus with a bunch of people who haven't been here. They are all pretty awkward for the most part and everyone just assumes you don't know anything about.. well.. anything.
I'm liking my classes for the most part. I'm taking Chem101, Portuguese101, BOM122, American Heritage100, SFL110(food preparation in the home), Dance280, and Dance 181.
Portuguese is a lot of fun and super easy so far. I like my teacher. She's a total dork, but it's awesome. She's super cute in the old lady way.
Chem, well, it's chem. -_- My teacher is pretty good I guess. He definitely acts and sounds like I would imagine a chemistry teacher would.
BOM is alright I guess. The teacher I have hasn't taught before. This is his first Semester at BYU. He didn't even go to school here. So his class is a little weird, but I think it'll be fine.
American Heritage sucks already. My teacher isn't very fun, and it's really hard to learn in his class. He doesn't explain things very well either, so it kind of sucks. I'm gonna have to do a ton of studying for that class. meh.
SFL is pretty awesome. I've only gone to one day though because I added it late. It seems like it'll be a really fun class, but I might need a calculator. =P
Dance 280 is really fun. I only went to class today because I added it late too. A spot opened up and I grabbed it. (I got really lucky with spots opening up... cause SFL fills up super fast too.) Anyway, 280 is really fun. There are some pretty good dancers in there. I'm gonna have to be in more dance competitions this time though. And I've got to get some ballroom shoes. I'm excited though. Today was super fun. We learned a Half Moon in ChaCha. It was pretty complicated, but it was fun anyway. I'm going to have to find a partner to practice with though.
Dance 181 is WAYYY FUN! We're learning the Cotton-eyed Joe right now. It's a lot of fun. It's pretty crazy. I've gotta look for some cheap cowgirl boots and some plaid shirts... and a belt. hmm... dance might be kind of expensive. But, it's fun anyway!
So yeah... my classes are alright I guess. There are just a few I'm going to have to work really hard in. YUCKY!
Hmm... it feels like I have really long days because I'm not out of class until 4. Which is NO FUN, AT ALL. Stupid freshman mentoring screwed everything up.
And then, by the end of the day, I feel like I haven't done much because I was in class all day and didn't get much done outside of class. Oh well, it's alright. it'll just take some adjusting to I suppose.
It's weird here with so many people here and no EFY kids flirting with you. Haha. I miss summer. As much as I didn't like it, there are some things about it I did enjoy. I miss not having 1000 people in my classes...
Anyway, I've got to go... I should probably get some reading done. YUMMMMMMMMM... only not really.

College?
Wow, it's been a while.
I'm really no good at this blogging thing.
I just started classes, about to close up on my first full week.. only one more day.
I'm done with classes for today. I'm hanging out with some friends tonight and we're going to hike the mountain to the Y! Woo!
The air is really dry and thin out here, so it'll be ... fun.
My classes are pretty fun. Music is really boring though, because I already know it all. I woke up super early this morning to do the music homework, only to find out it was optional. -_-
Oh well, it's alright. I already knew it, so it wasn't that bad.
I've actually studied really hard the past few days... and my parents said i didn't know how to study... heh, i do. I just choose not to.
But, I have been... so far.
But, not gonna lie, it's getting a bit boring.
I'm really hungry at the moment. I'm so ready to eat and sleep.
I only got like 4.5 hours of sleep last night. woo! I can't wait to get some real sleep tonight.
Tomorrow my first class is at 10. yay!
Alrighty, well... i'm gonna go get on that food thing.
I'll have to take some pictures so I can put them up.
Much love!

life
life sucks. a lot.
school is a drag and the days are long. Just thinking about going back tomorrow makes me sick. This year is so hard (not really in subjects... but emotionally. It's hard not to really have friends in the school anymore. All of my friends graduated last year =(
Classes suck and i've got two REALLY terrible teachers. they don't know what their doing... and they don't even know the subject they are "teaching". It's ridiculous.
I like the song Fireflies.
I haven't heard it much, but it's fun. =)
it's a happy song.
I've studied for bio all day today. =( it gets really tiring/sucky after a while
anyhow. i should get ready for bed or something.
night =D

mehh
So i've had a pretty bleh day. I've had a cold for a while, but it's getting worse and now i've got a headache too. It stinksss. But yeah, todayyy.. church was pretty good i guess. It was my first time in my ward for over a month. Haha, my baddd. On church records i was inactive. tehe.
But yeah, i got my interview for my patriarchal blessing today so yeah, I'll be getting that soon. wooo...
anyhowwss... i don't really know what else to write.
I guess i'll write about my summer so far.
I went to Utah to hang out with family and go to EFY recently. It was super fun! I got to see Doug, which is just about the best thing in the world! It was kinda awkward actually. I mean, it's one thing to write to someone all the time, and know almost everything about them, but it's completely different to meet them in person after two years. I don't know. I think it would have been less awkward had it just been me there in a room with him... or maybe it'd be more awkward. I don't know. I guess it doesn't really matter now. I've gotta write him a letter soon. I miss him.
I wish i would have said more when i was there, gotten to know HIM in person more while i was there. Oh well, it's too late now. No use regretting. I should just go visit more. =D
haha.
EFY was kinda sucky though. it wasn't the same as usual (duh) and it just kinda... wasn't as good. I definitely don't like EFY BYU as much as others. So yeah...
I met some people i definitely won't forget though. So yeah.
It was super awesome to spend some time with my family though. I got to go dirt biking! It was actually super fun... and really terrifying at first. The first time, i didn't drive, but it was still super fun... and thrilling. Then, a few days after that, Ryan took me to drive... that was super scary too. Haha, i was afraid at first that i'd fall and the bike would fall on me and break my leg or something. It's okay though. I got away with just a few bruises and a scratch. However, i think that it'll probably scar... i scar easily. And i bruise easily. But yeah... it was awesome... and maybe i'll have a cool battle scar to tell my story.
haha, i was actually pretty good at it too... i think. =)
but yeah... umm... i think i'm done for now.. cause mike just called and i'm distracted.

:sigh:
I've got finals starting tomorrow, and I've spent the past hour or so trying to come up with a good essay for the essay topics Mr. Beaumont assigned. This is so bad. Oh well, I guess all I can do is my best, right? Hopefully the multiple choice questions won't be too bad.
Anyhow, for those of you who don't know yet, I'm flying out to Utah June 20th for EFY and then stayin a bit after wards. I want to see Doug if I can while I'm out there. =D
Anyhow, I should probably get back to studying, yes? Yeah... I should.

Current Events
Alrighty... so here goes.
Lots has happened recently...
I don't really know where to start, but I figure that since most of my family have a blog, it's the fastest way to tell everyone what's been goin on.
Long story short, your sister, (aka: me) was just Elected Drum Major for the 09-10 season! We do not know what the show is going to be this year yet, but this means that anywhere from end of july - november.. i am pretty much completely unavailable.. sorry.
I just did my schedule for next year, and I've got a feeling I have a hard year ahead of me. I'm not taking a lunch at all, (and no, not because I have 5 music classes... I actually only have one). I'm taking English (obviously...), AP Statistics, Wood Shop, Honors Accounting, Film Analysis, AP Biology, Honors Wind Ensemble, Gym (obviously)and a few other random classes... so yeah, it'll be a pretty hard year. I just hope I have time for everything.
Finals are comming up this next week! woo... oh so fun... only not really.
Although, my finals on my birthday are pretty sweet. I get to go in late (1030) and then my HSTS final is just gonna be watching CIA because we had a final project which we have been working on for the past month in class/labs and are still working on up until Friday when finals start.
So yeah, that's about it for now I guess... it's getting kinda late and I'm tired because I had prom last night, and had to wake up this morning for SATs.
Love ya guys!
Amy
